How do I measure a dining chair?
There are several components you may need to measure when purchasing dining room chairs. Firstly, measure from the floor to the top of the seat to determine the seat height, then measure from the highest point of the chair to the floor to determine the back height.
In some cases, you may also want to measure the depth of the seat, and therefore need to measure from the front of the chair to the backrest and then from front leg to front leg to establish the width. This will help you determine whether your dining room chairs will fit underneath your chosen dining table.

How do I clean a dining chair?
The process for cleaning dining room chairs is completely dependent on the dining chair itself. Is it upholstered, and if so, what material is the upholstery? Fabric and leather need to be cared for in different ways, whereas wooden dining chairs can be even simpler to care for!
For fabric dining seating, they should be regularly vacuumed and lightly brushed to preserve their appearance. To treat spills or stains, any liquid should be mopped up immediately using a damp cloth, and should then be gently blotted to remove any excess. Velvet dining chairs should also be treated in a similar fashion.
On the other hand, wooden or leather dining chairs should also be vacuumed regularly, but any spills should be much easier to treat as the fabric does not absorb liquid. A wood or leather protector is often recommended to help keep your furniture in the best condition.
