Office Chairs

We would recommend that you have an office chair if you are working from home. It might be tempting to have a dining chair, as you likely already have one of these close to hand. But a desk chair has been designed to offer more support and comfort when working long hours, whereas a dining room chair is only meant to be used for short periods.

A good office chair is important for using a computer as it helps to promote a proper posture whilst working, helping to prevent any work induced strains or injuries. This is especially true with ergonomic chairs that give you plenty of lumbar support for your spine, and many of our computer chairs can be adjusted, allowing you to get personalised comfort.

Using a home office chair can also help to improve your efficiency whilst working, as many of the features of a desk chair promote comfortable working for long periods or make movement easy. This is important when working on a computer or laptop, as you'll be able to work better if you feel as comfy and supported in your home office as you would in the workplace!

Whilst you don't necessarily need to have armrests on an office chair, we would certainly recommend them! Armrests can offer extra support to your back and neck as you work by reducing the level of muscle strain you experience and ensuring you have a good posture. You can also use armrests to help you get up and down, which is particularly good if you already suffer back pain!

Some of our computer chairs include adjustable armrests, allowing you to raise or lower the armrest height or even move it forward or backwards, depending on what you need!
